B.I.G. is THE comprehensive platform for all areas of life relating to your own home. Whether you are interested in new construction, modernising existing living spaces or designing gardens and terraces, numerous exhibitors, craft businesses and service providers from the construction and housing industry will be presenting their offerings at the trade fair and will be available for personal consultations. In addition to building services and energy-efficient systems, topics such as burglary protection, smart homes and financing solutions are also part of the exhibition portfolio.

In addition to the topics of construction, interior design and garden landscaping, this year's fair will focus on energy supply security and the increased use of climate-friendly energies. Numerous companies will be on site with their products and services, guaranteeing advice tailored to the individual needs of visitors. There will also be informative presentations in the Living & Energy Forum. Here, experts will explain, among other things, how to modernise old buildings from the roof to the basement, where it is worthwhile to use natural building materials and energy-efficient systems, and how to apply for subsidies.

Another focus of B.I.G. is on gardening, presenting creative ideas and the latest design trends for the coming season under the motto ‘Garden & Ambience’. Gardeners and landscapers from the region will be showcasing elaborately designed themed gardens, which serve as illustrative examples and offer inspiration on how outdoor spaces can be planned to be both functional and aesthetically pleasing. In addition, a diverse exhibition area will present outdoor furniture, plants, planters and accessories for patios, balconies and gardens.

The central element of this area is the Garden Forum, where experts from the Lower Saxony Garden Academy and the Lower Saxony Chamber of Agriculture offer a detailed programme of lectures. Whether it's beautiful spring gardens, proper rose care, creating and planting raised beds, or adding stylish accents to garden design, visitors to the Garden Forum can gather all kinds of expert knowledge and pick up tips, tricks, and ideas for their own gardens.

Another special highlight of the trade fair programme are the barbecue shows with Tina Kirchhoff. The barbecue expert, known on social media as ‘BBQ Tina’, will be giving several demonstrations a day in an outdoor kitchen. Her shows not only cover classic barbecue techniques, but also creative recipe ideas and practical tips for successful outdoor cooking – from meat and fish to vegetables, side dishes and desserts. Viewers will find inspiration for their own barbecue season and can experience the latest trends and spice combinations live.

Interior design is also an important part of the trade fair: furniture, kitchens, home accessories and design trends offer visitors the opportunity to find out about the latest developments in the home. Manufacturers and expert advisors are on hand for personal consultations, helping visitors to clarify individual furnishing questions and find suitable solutions.
