As part of the B.I.G. construction and gardening fair – Bauen. Interieur. Garten. (Building. Interior. Garden.) from 11 to 15 February 2026, the Garden Forum will once again invite visitors to listen, learn and exchange ideas. Visitors can look forward to a varied and practical programme of lectures.
The focus will be on current topics relating to garden maintenance, design and sustainable gardening. Among other things, the programme will cover low-maintenance gardens, flower-filled starts to the season in spring and the question of how to garden successfully even in small spaces, for example with raised beds or balcony boxes. There will be a special focus on climate adaptation and resource conservation, for example water saving in the garden, climate-conscious gardening and sustainable planting concepts.
Nature and species conservation also play a central role in the Garden Forum: lectures on buzzing, bird- and bee-friendly gardens show how habitats for insects, birds and other animals can be created. The programme is complemented by contributions on herbs, perennials, grasses, living hedges and alternatives to classic gravel gardens – with lots of specific tips for implementation in your own garden.
In addition, visitors will receive valuable tips on garden planning, organic plant protection, proper lawn and meadow care, and planting solutions for difficult locations such as shady areas. The lectures are aimed equally at novice gardeners and experienced hobby gardeners.
The Garden Forum thus offers an ideal opportunity to obtain comprehensive information, ask questions directly to experts, and start the new gardening season well prepared.
