The journey starts here
Hannover - With over 34 million overnight stays at German campsites and 11 million enthusiastic campers and caravanners, one thing is clear: the fascination for camping and caravanning is timeless and enduring. At the upcoming ABF, northern Germany's largest leisure and adventure trade fair from February 12 to 16, this enthusiasm will be reflected in an exhibition area of over 35,000 square meters.

DCC Deutscher Camping Club - Know-how and conviviality for all campers
The German Camping Club (DCC) will once again be taking part. The Lower Saxony regional association will be on hand to provide advice and assistance to campers and interested parties, answer questions on safety and technology and present the DCC safety motorhome. Here, visitors can learn all about safety-related topics such as gas testing, driving a camper van and tires.
The “Campertreff” is the place to meet and mingle - with tasty snacks and drinks in a cozy beer garden atmosphere.
VANLIFE with great ideas for cool campers
In the Vanlife camp, eight individual and self-built vans of different brands are presented. The vehicle doors are open and the “customizers” are available for tips and tricks. This is where the community meets to talk shop and beginners will find a wide range of specialist expertise in all areas of self-builds.
On the Vanlife stage, there will be daily presentations on various topics, including DIY conversions. Experts such as the bus hobbyists will give tips and advice on what to consider when planning, converting vehicles or traveling. The program includes topics such as “The perfect floor plan”, “Safe on the road” and “Electric setups”. There will also be tips on configuration and registration. In addition, visitors can look forward to various travel reports from the Vanlife community and get inspiration for their own travel planning.
And on Friday, February 14, the community will meet up for Vanlife@Night from 6 pm. With snacks and drinks, multivision, exciting talks and a special guest.
