Hanover - The trend toward mobile travel continues unabated. Already in 2020, the number of new registrations of recreational vehicles exceeded the 100,000 mark, and in 2021 there were exactly 106,138 new registrations. In the two pandemic years of 2020 and 2021 alone, around two million new entrants were added, according to a study. The growth of the camper community is primarily due to the large range of slimmer, smaller panel vans. That's why "Caravaning & Camping" 2023 is focusing on the special theme of "Vanlife".

Everything at "Caravaning & Camping" revolves around mobile travel. Around 100 manufacturers and dealers will present the latest caravan and motorhome models as well as tents, technology and accessories at the start of the season. Whether you're a professional camper or a beginner, "Caravaning & Camping" has something for everyone. First-class advice for first-time campers is guaranteed by the German Camping Club DCC Landesverband Niedersachsen, and numerous camping sites will also be presenting themselves to visitors.

New this year: the exhibition area "Vanlife", where artfully converted panel vans and new van models will be presented. New exhibitors such as Salty Blue Camper, Neuländer Camper, Vickywood, Autohaus Kahle and many others will be present. In addition, there will be a wide range of conversion accessories and, of course, a colorful infotainment program, as well as a presentation of about 10 self-built vans of different brands. New this year is also the possibility to participate in special courses, where you can get important info and equipment for the self-build. The hall also features a stand-up paddling pool to try out, as well as a beach bar with cool cocktails and snacks.

" Caravanning & Camping " as part of the abf leisure fair. From 1 to 5 February 2023 at the fairgrounds in Hanover. Daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
