In Hall 26 of the Hanover Exhibition Center, renowned dealers and manufacturers will be presenting their models - from mountain bikes to city runabouts, from Dutch bikes and pedelecs to the latest e-bikes. Germany's largest bicycle center, Stadler, will also be there with a gigantic selection. Cube specialist Multicycle will also be at the start again, as will Hercules, HNF Works, Räderwerk, Fahrradgigant, AT Zweirad and many more.
All bikes can be extensively examined and tried out on a large test track. NEW! On a separate test track for running and children's bikes, even the youngest can safely put their first two-wheeler through its paces - or simply have fun.
The ADFC Region Hannover e.V. will also be there to provide visitors with all the information they need about cycling. Experts offer a wide range of information and advice including material on topics such as cycle routes and infrastructure, cycle tours in Germany, Lower Saxony and the region including Bed+Bike accommodation advice.
The ADFC cycling school will once again be coming to the ABF with a bike course for the youngest bikers. After a short familiarization session on the bikes, the kids have to master the obstacles without making any mistakes. Small surprise gifts await the participants.
NEW: The S'COOL pump track in Hall 26. A pump track is a closed circuit with waves and steep bends. Motor skills are trained here - regardless of whether you want to "pump" on a bike, mountain bike, longboard, scooter or inline skates. The gradual approach to movement sequences ensures a risk-conscious, playful introduction and guarantees absolute riding fun. Speed is built up exclusively by shifting weight and targeted pulling and pushing movements. With a little practice, you can ride around the course without turning the pedals. Even small children can train their motor skills on the pump track with the balance bike.
"Bicycle & Family" is the title of this year's special exhibition. The boom in e-pedelecs and cargo bikes in recent years offers families new mobility options, and children also learn to keep their balance on balance bikes at an early age. This is why the theme of "Bicycles & Family" is also the focus of the exhibition in Hall 26: every day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., visitors can find out about the latest trends and get guidance for their purchasing decisions.
Children's bike course powered by woom - in the woom bike area, children between the ages of two and 14 can playfully familiarize themselves with the basics of cycling on the super-light, child-friendly running and bicycles from woom. Newcomers to the sport of cycling can gain their first experience on the varied practice course, while older young cyclists can hone their riding skills. Simple obstacles such as bridges and bumps add to the fun and train motor skills.
On Sunday, all visitors who come to the ABF by bike can buy a ticket for just 5 euros. Attention: Tickets only online and only while stocks last.
