The year starts with the absolute trade fair highlight for travel enthusiasts, sports fans, caravanning enthusiasts and all those for whom leisure means more than the sofa at home. Over 500 exhibitors will be coming to the exhibition grounds in Hanover from February 12 to 16 to present the latest trends from the caravanning, vacation, bike and car sectors at the ABF.

In a total of eight halls and five theme worlds, visitors will find everything they need for active leisure activities. This makes the ABF one of the largest leisure trade fairs in Germany since 1978.
Whether mountain bike or city runabout, cargo bike or pedelec - the selection of two-wheelers has never been so large. Over 50 bicycle brands are available for you to try out on a large test track in the Bicycle & Mobility theme world.
The organizers from Deutsche Messe have also stepped on the gas in the car area. Around 20 brands, including Audi, Mercedes, Cupra, Skoda, Tesla, Toyota, VW and many more, will be presented in an exclusive staging. Whether combustion or electric vehicle - at the ABF you can experience the latest models of the season under one roof and compare them without having to go from dealership to dealership. TOP: All models are available for test drives on the open-air site - don't forget your driver's license and ID card.
This year, the Travel & Vacation theme world is all about Canada. Together with the vacation professionals from “America Unlimited”, the country will be presented in all its beauty. The Yukon, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Nova Scotia and Ontario regions, among others, will be presented, and visitors can also find out about unforgettable travel experiences with the Rocky Mountaineer and Air Canada.
But other vacation destinations can also be booked directly on site at the ABF. For example, on the “Nordic countries” area. Here you can find out interesting facts about Scandinavia and the Baltic States.
Not to be missed: The special “Harz Experience” area, with VR adventure fun, Harz delicacies, model railroads and, of course, the most beautiful destinations in the popular low mountain range.
Anyone wanting to travel with a caravan or motorhome is sure to find the model of their choice at Caravaning & Camping. Manufacturers and dealers present the latest models in three halls covering 35,000 square meters in an even larger and more varied setting. From 10-meter luxury motorhomes to collapsible trailers, there is everything to delight the camper's heart. Not to be missed: The special Vanlife area with custom and self-built panel vans and a stage program. And on Friday, February 14, the community will meet here from 6 p.m. for Vanlife@Night. With snacks and drinks, multivision, exciting talks and special guest Tim Bendzko (“Just save the world”). Bendzko will tell exciting stories from his camper life and also perform a few songs.
The Outdoor & Fitness area is the place to go for everything you need for a fit lifestyle: sports and outdoor clothing, equipment, sports shoes, fitness equipment and more. You can also try out the latest exercise trends, such as jumping fitness or hula hoops.
The sporting highlight of the ABF is the first ABF Run on Saturday, February 15. There will be a run for children up to the age of 11 (1.6 kilometers), a main run (10 kilometers) and a family run, also 10 kilometers. Start: 14:30 hrs. Further information and registration forms will be available soon at www.abf-hannover.de
