Hanover – One of the centrepieces of ABF is the Caravanning & Camping theme world, which is unrivalled in terms of its size and brand diversity. Dealers and manufacturers present almost all brands in the industry on over 35,000 square metres of exhibition space. The range includes compact campervans, semi-integrated and fully integrated motorhomes, classic caravans and a large selection of technical accessories and innovative equipment. Caravaning & Camping offers visitors the perfect opportunity to compare different models, find out about the latest technical developments and discover individual solutions for mobile travel.

The caravanning section not only showcases the wide range of vehicles available, but also the variety of possibilities that mobile travel offers today – from short weekend trips to long-term travel in a motorhome.

Caravaning & Camping also puts the spotlight back on van life, focusing on customised vehicle conversions, sustainable concepts and practical tips for living and travelling in a campervan.

New: The ROOF TENT HUB is the first cross-brand contact point for anyone interested in mobile travel with a roof tent.

Another highlight for fans of the mobile lifestyle is the VANLIFE@NIGHT event, featuring Gregor Meyle on the evening of 13 February this year. The musician and van life enthusiast will share his personal experiences, tell stories from the road and create an atmospheric vibe with a live acoustic concert that brings to life the connection between music and freedom on four wheels. Best of all, admission to Vanlife@Night is included in the regular ABF ticket.

New this year is the Camping Stage – a central platform for informative lectures, practical talks and expert panels. Here, visitors can get tips on travel planning, technology, equipment and everyday life in a motorhome. The programme is aimed at beginners as well as experienced campers and is designed to inspire, impart knowledge and facilitate exchange. On 11 February, the first day of the fair, camping expert and podcaster Friso Richter (‘Natural Born Campers’) will be a guest. He will record his podcast live at the fair and offer visitors the opportunity to talk to him and gain insights into the camping scene.

This year, the Travel & Holidays theme world is dedicated to Asia as a travel destination, presented under the direction of Explorer Fernreisen. Asia, with its cultural diversity, fascinating landscapes and varied travel destinations, is the focus of Travel & Holidays. Visitors will find detailed information on long-distance travel, individual holiday offers and sustainable and authentic forms of travel. Tour operators, hotels and airlines will be on hand to answer questions about planning, safety and current developments in the long-distance travel market. In addition, there will be an informative and entertaining supporting programme as well as culinary highlights.

Travel & Holidays also focuses on tourism in Germany in all its facets. From the Harz Mountains to the heath, from the sea to the Alps – numerous tourism professionals will be presenting the country's most beautiful destinations.

The automotive theme world is also an important area at ABF, with a wide variety of models and brands on display. From established manufacturers of classic vehicles to modern hybrid and electric vehicles and innovative concepts for sustainable mobility, the trade fair showcases a broad spectrum of the latest models. The opportunity to test drive all the vehicles on display in the outdoor area makes the event particularly attractive for anyone who wants to get a comprehensive impression.

The mobility offering is complemented by the Bicycle & Mobility theme world, which presents a wide range of bicycles, pedelecs, cargo bikes and other e-mobility solutions. Visitors have the opportunity to test many of the models on display on site. The offerings are aimed at active sports enthusiasts as well as commuters and recreational cyclists.

The Outdoor & Fitness theme world complements the ABF with a diverse programme focusing on sport, exercise and outdoor activities. Here, exhibitors showcase sports equipment, outdoor gear and new trends for active leisure activities.

Visitors can get active on 14 February at the ABF RUN, which is taking place for the second time. With different route lengths across the exhibition grounds and the surrounding area, the run offers an attractive opportunity to combine exercise with a visit to the exhibition – for both amateur runners and ambitious athletes.

B.I.G. – Building. Interior. Garden.: Focus on building and gardening projects

Parallel to ABF, B.I.G. – Bauen. Interieur. Garten. (Building. Interior. Garden.) will also be taking place. With a wide range of exhibitors from the construction, interior design and gardening sectors, B.I.G. is aimed at builders, renovators, gardening enthusiasts and anyone interested in interior design and sustainable garden design.

One of the highlights of B.I.G. is once again the barbecue show with BBQ Tina, which takes place three times a day. BBQ Tina, alias Tina Kirchhoff, demonstrates techniques, recipes and tricks for barbecuing and conveys the diversity of outdoor cooking – from classic to creative barbecue ideas.

In addition to the extensive product range, strong partners such as the Lower Saxony Climate Protection Agency and the Lower Saxony Garden Academy enrich the trade fair with specialist lectures and consulting services on sustainable construction, energy efficiency and natural garden design.

With their extensive range of products and diverse programme of events, both ABF and B.I.G. offer a trade fair experience that combines leisure, mobility, travel and living. Visitors can obtain comprehensive information, try things out, gather inspiration and exchange ideas with experts.

ABF & B.I.G. – from 11 to 15 February 2026 at the Hanover Exhibition Centre, open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
